Connecting the aFrame Headphone Output or Line Outputs to phantom power sources
Please do not connect either the aFrame headphone output or stereo line outs to channels on a mixer or audio interface with phantom power engaged (on).
When the aFrame is powered down, phantom power will damage the aFrame's audio buffer circuit leading to a permanent loss of audio output.

Prepare the firmware update binary file ATV-aFrame.BIN and the microSD card.
- When an SD card is formatted all data on the SD card will be deleted. If there is data on the SD card that you wish to keep please back the data up before formatting.
- Please use an SD card formatted with the aFrame.
- To format an SD using the aFrame, insert the microSD in the aFrame and execute the System menu function SYS:SDCardFormat (see aFrame Reference Guide p.51).
- When an SD card is formatted all data on the SD card will be deleted. If there is data on the SD card that you wish to keep please back the data up before formatting.
- The aFrame supports SD/SDHC card from 2GB to 32GB in capacity. Do not use SDXC cards, as they are not supported.

[Step]
1. Update aFrame firmware to ver.2.00.
2. Turn off the aFrame power.
3. Pressing encoder wheel and power switch for a while until the display reads 'INIT SYS/Project'.
4. Select the option 'yes'. This will initialize the system settings and write factory presets to the aFrame’s internal memory locations: INT.Memory1, INT.Memory 2.
- INT.Memory1: Factory preset1(VER.1.20)
- INT.Memory2: Factory Preset2(VER.2.00)
Note that after initialization is complete, the INT.Memory 1 factory presets (Ver. 1.20) are loaded and available for use. To use the version 2.00 presets, press the [1 PITCH] and [4 VOLUME] buttons simultaneously to activate the system menu. Press the [1 PITCH] button once and the display will read ‘SYS:Load Project’. Turn the encoder wheel to select INT.Memory 2, and press the encoder to load.

Randomize Parameters Function
- It is now possible to select and randomize parameters for instrument layers (Main, Sub, Xtra, Dry).
- The level of randomization can be adjusted to create different variations.
